A few years prior to the comic starting, Velu rescued a baby tapir from a flood. Considering it had been separated from its mother, she raised it as her own and it’s become something of a pet and best friend. However, it comes and goes as it pleases, but always comes back to the house.
Kokut is very creeped out by it as it has a tendency to stare at him. Especially when he’s trying to sleep.
One big page o’ Tarrloks compiled from my ask blog, this was originally a 3000x3000 file and I filled the entire page. I still have quite a few questions to go, I’ve been picking them at random to draw answers to if anyone was wondering what the answering process was. I try to keep them at three a day at most to stave off burnout.

so this week i’ve been knocking around ideas with regards to velu’s family for this big ridiculous comic thing. this is one of the characters that’s surfaced; meet bopha, her twin sister. her hobbies include playing the phin, getting stoned, and being the mellow counterweight to vel’s energetic self. she spends most of her time lounging around her parents’ clinic playing music for the patients when she’s not wandering the jungle to gawk at spider webs or sunbathe at the old temple or seeing how her sister’s doing.
